EXTRA TUFF AFC (Alkaline Foam Cleaner)is a high foaming alkaline cleaner for use in meat, fish, poultry, beverage and dairy plants and is formulated to remove grease, oil, starch, protein and blood. EXTRA TUFF AFC’s thick foam adheres to vertical surfaces, increasing the contact time on food processing equipment and walls. EXTRA TUFF AFC can be combined with bleach to aid in removal of baked-on stain s, protein and starch-based soils.

Directions for Use

Foam Units: Use 2.5 to 5 oz Extra Tuff AFC per US gallon of warm to hot water (20 to 40 ml/litre) (1:50 to 1:25). No additional foaming agent is required.

Pressure Spray: Use 1.3 to 2.5 oz per US gallon of water (10 to 20 ml/litre) (1:100 to 1:50).

Manual Cleaning: Follow all safety precautions. Use 1 to 3 oz per gallon of warm to hot water (8 to 25 ml/litre) (1:128 to 1:40).

Heavily Soiled Surfaces: use 6.5 oz per gallon of water (50 ml/litre) (1:20).

Liquid Chlorine Bleach Addition: Add 1 to 5 percent by volume of liquid chlorine bleach to your diluted Extra Tuff AFC cleaning solution (1:20 to 1:100).

FOR USE IN FOOD PLANTS: All food should be removed or covered prior to use and food contact surfaces are to be thoroughly rinsed with potable water so there will be no contamination of food as a result of its use.
