Directions for Use
Covers up to 3,000 square feet per gallon minimum depending on application method and porosity of floor.
Thoroughly clean floor prior to applying FLOOR FINISH 18 as a sealer, finish, spray buff or restorer.
General Application:
As a Floor Finish:
To get maximum durability apply FLOOR FINISH 18 undiluted.
- Apply with a clean finish mop or wax applicator.
- Allow each coat to dry completely, 30 to 40 minutes before recoating.
- Apply additional coats depending on gloss expectations and traffic conditions.
For areas with less foot traffic: FLOOR FINISH 18 can be diluted with one part water and applied as directed above.
As a Floor Sealer
Mix 1 part water with 1 part FLOOR FINISH 18 to make a good floor sealer. FLOOR FINISH 18 should be applied undiluted as a floor sealer on floors that are more porous.
- Apply with a clean finish mop or wax applicator.
- Allow each coat to dry completely, normally 30 to 40 minutes before recoating.
As a Mop-On Restorer
Mix 2 parts water with 1 part FLOOR FINISH 18 to make a high-performance mop on restorer. Apply with a finish mop or finish applicator. Allow to dry to touch and follow with high-speed burnishing.
As a Spray Buff Solution:
Mix 3 parts water with 1 part FLOOR FINISH 18 to make a high-performance spray buffing solution. After diluting with water, spray onto the floor surface with an appropriate sprayer and follow with buffing or burnishing with an appropriate floor buffing or burnishing pad. Keep the burnish or buffing pads clean to prevent dirt from being pushed into the floor.
